Hey, what's up everyone? Alright, The Dead Sale were in the studio last weekend and I have to say that I'm extremely impressed with the results. Head on over to their myspace page to hear the songs. If, like some of us, you can't access myspace from work, I'll be uploading the songs to the Barcode Records audio player in the next couple days, but in the meantime, here's a track called Steady Strong. We also took a bunch of pictures as well as some video footage that will hopefully be used for a DVD at some point in the future. Here's a link to the flickr photoset.
Don't forget that they'll be playing a show tomorrow night, March 21st, with Attack in Black, Vicious Cycle, This Ship Will Burn, and Hello Marx @ The Jubilee Centre (195 Applegrove, Sudbury ON) - AA/7PM/TBA. The show is brought to you by The Realness Promo.
They're also playing at the TowneHouse Tavern on April 21st w/ Chris Newmann, Life Blown Open, and Apparatus. 100% of the proceeds will be going to the David Suzuki Foundation in celebration of Earth Day.
They've ordered some t-shirts, stickers and pins, so head on over to the merch table at their shows to pick some up or check out the online store on their website.
  
And in other BIG NEWS, the Elephant Band have pretty much wrapped up their new record, with just a few finishing touches left to do. They're expecting to have it ready for the summer, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been looking forward to this for a while now. Check back soon for a sneak peak!
They've also got a few shows scheduled in the next couple months...
Vince will be playing a solo acoustic show at the TowneHouse this Tuesday, March 13th (that's tomorrow!).
And then they'll be playing a cover gig under their old moniker "Moonage" on April 6th and 7th at a new bar in Sudbury called SRO (Standing Room Only). That's guaranteed to be a good time (just ask anyone that was at my wedding).
Lastly, they'll be playing an actual Elephant Band gig at the TowneHouse on May 4th, so get your dancing shows ready and bring all of your friends with you.
